Does the SE-RDA rely on a single contractor?

No, the projects would be open to any contractor who are on a framework who have the capacity and experience to develop a net-zero ready affordable housing on a large scale. The procurement process is taken on a bundle-by-bundle basis and is agreed by all stakeholders in the bundle.

Do all three key components (pipeline, typologies and collaboration) in the SE-RDA delivery approach need to be met to allow engagement?

While maximum benefits are gained from utilising the three components, it is possible to only utilise part of the delivery approach.

How often are bundles formed?

Bundles are formed at least every 6 months. However, you can contact us anytime to discuss your site and we can create additional bundles if there is a demand.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of units required on a site?

No, there is no unit requirement for any sites, although the benefits gained are greater with more units.

How is a site added into an SE-RDA bundle?

Send us details of your site using the 'submit a project' button and we will contact you to discuss.

Are there any fees associated with participating with the SE-RDA bundles or using the SE-RDA resources?

The Regional Delivery Alliance are funded by the 6 Regional Local Authorities and therefore there is currently no fee required to utilise any part of the Regional Delivery Alliance. However, this is subject to change should the SE-RDA funding change.

Does a project need to be funded before it can be added to a bundle?

No, there is no requirement to have agreed funding for a project before you contact us to discuss it.
